Plan your day around bathroom access—and skip activities when you can’t.
“Lightning pains,” pain during intercourse, and back pain are reported.
Laughing, sneezing, bedwetting, lifting or even at random.
Life is busy and stressful enough, patients want to focus on the things that bring them joy.
Difficulty finding an effective solution is frustrating. An intense urgency to urinate, followed by incomplete emptying is too.
Stigma and shame can lead patients to hesitate when discussing their symptoms, often leaving them to navigate their challenges alone for years. while the condition progresses.
Pelvic floor issues affect over half of American adults—and nearly half of those individuals are under the age of 50. While that makes it common, pelvic floor dysfunction is not normal.
Most people dealing with these issues are given treatment options that simply manage symptoms, leaving them still searching for a real solution.
Most are told:
“Deal with it" “It’s just aging” “Do more Kegels” And they continue to suffer.
But here’s the truth:
Most pelvic floor treatments focus on stretnth and pelvic floor dysfunction is not just a strength problem.
It’s a breakdown in:
Effective treatment focuses on restoring coordination and strength using targeted therapy.

Independent Physical Medicine utilizes a new technology that focuses on retraining the entire system focusing on restoring coordination not just strengthening a muscle.
Using High Energy Inductive Therapy, we:
All without internal therapy or invasive procedures.
What This Means for You
Patients commonly report:
How HEIT Therapy works
Healthy pelvic floor function depends on strong communication between your muscles and nervous system. HEIT targets this and allows your body to relearn control naturally.
High Energy Inductive Therapy helps restore this by:
High-Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT®) uses a high-intensity magnetic field (up to 3 Tesla) to stimulate nerves, muscles, and blood vessels at depth. Because magnetic fields are not significantly impeded by different tissue types, this allows for consistent penetration into deeper structures.
At the cellular level, HEIT® influences membrane potential and mitochondrial activity, supporting cellular homeostasis and energy production. It modulates neuromuscular signaling by depolarizing motor units and improving neuromuscular junction function, which can enhance coordination, activation, and muscle re-education.
Physiologically, HEIT® can upregulate or downregulate neural, muscular, and vascular activity depending on the tissue response. It also promotes vasodilation and circulation, increasing oxygen delivery and tissue perfusion. Secondary biological effects may include increased nitric oxide production, endorphin release, and improved cellular uptake of nutrients and signaling molecules.
The result is a multi-system response that supports tissue function, neuromuscular control, and the body’s ability to regulate inflammation and recovery.

We understand that pelvic floor dysfunction can be a sensitive and personal topic—and we approach it that way.
Every visit is designed to be private, respectful, and comfortable. Our team takes a compassionate, positive approach, creating an environment where you can openly discuss your concerns without judgment.
Women will have the option to speak with a female provider, and men with a male provider—unless you have a different preference, which we are always happy to accommodate. All treatment takes place in a private room, and you remain fully dressed throughout your visit.
We’ve designed this process to be comfortable, private, and simple. The goal is to determine if you’re a good fit for the program, and if so, you’ll learn exactly what we recommend and what that investment looks like. If you decide to move forward, we'll start your first treatment that day.
Not all patients are accepted- only the ones we belive we can truly help.
If you are accepted, we’ll walk you through your protocol at your visit and exact costs should you decide to begin.
Most patients complete a series of 6 treatments designed to retrain the pelvic floor. The exact timeline depends on the severity of symptoms and consistency with care. Patients with more severe issues may need up to 12 (this is rare).

Pelvic floor dysfunction is best treated by restoring both strength and coordination of the muscles and nerves involved. While exercises like Kegels can help, many patients need advanced therapy that retrains the full neuromuscular system. Non-invasive technologies like High Energy Inductive Therapy can provide this without surgery or internal procedures.
Kegels focus only on muscle strength, but pelvic floor dysfunction often involves poor coordination between muscles and nerves. If timing and communication are off, strengthening alone may not fix the problem.
Yes. Many patients improve using non-invasive therapy that stimulates the pelvic floor externally. This allows for muscle activation and retraining without internal exams, making it a comfortable and effective option.
No. This covers treatment of male and female urinary incontinence.
Bladder leaks are commonly caused by weakened or poorly coordinated pelvic floor muscles. This can result from pregnancy, aging, hormonal changes, or long-term strain.
You don’t have to live with this.
You don’t have to “manage it.”
You can fix it.
